Birds in our winter garden Part 1

I  decided that this year I will try to document and learn about all birds that visit our feeders and garden during the year.

Here is what I have so far for this winter:

Can someone guess all their names correctly?
Sharing with I'd rather be birding   and Saturday's Critters blogs where magnificent pictures of birds are being shared.

  1. I'm confident about 5 of them but am surprised that I'm stumped on the top row middle and the little gray one sandwiched between the female and male cardinals. Hope you come back on and tell me the answers.

    1. Nobody wanted to play my naming game so here are the answers from left to right:
Chickadee, Dark-eyed Junco, Female Cardinal, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Male House Finch, Female House Finch and Male Cardinal.
It is not fair that the males have the attractive red coloration! I guess, life is not fair!
