Here is your morning jolt of color:

Virginia Bluebells, Trillium and wild violas - April

The spotted foliage is Lungwort  or Pulmonaria (zone 3-9). It has a vital role in this woodland border as the Virginia Bells and Trilium will completely disappear in the heat of the summer
